On June 19th, 2013, Dubuque Police, along with the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office, Iowa State Patrol, City of Dubuque Animal Control and City of Dubuque Park Patrol, conducted a multi-agency safety and enforcement project focusing on the high call volume/impact areas of the City. Enforcement efforts included traffic violations, animal control issues (such as vaccinations & licensing), and problems in parks.
The project was operational from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and officers from the above agencies issued both citations and warnings. The specific number & nature of offenses were as follows:
