A Clarke University student has been arrested after filing a false report on November 5th with the Dubuque Police Department
On November 5th, 2013, Dubuque Police received a report of an alleged abduction and assault the victim claimed happened on or about October 23rd, 2013. The victim, a student at Clarke University, specifically claimed she was taken against her will from the Clarke campus to an off-campus location and assaulted. Following several initial interviews, the analysis of evidence, and follow-up interviews with the alleged victim, investigators determined the report to be false.
Robin Ann Levitski, date of birth: 12/14/94, of Warren, IL (Clarke University Student) was arrested today for one count of false reports to or communications with public safety entities. She was taken to the Dubuque County Jail and held on a $5,000 cash only bond arrest warrant. False reports to or communications with public safety entities is a serious misdemeanor with a possible fine of at least $315 but not to exceed $1,875. In addition, the court may also order imprisonment not to exceed one year.
