[ARCHIVED] LEISURE SERVICES DEPARTMENT IS OFFERING FALL SWIMMING LESSONS

The Leisure Services Department is offering swimming lessons this Fall at the Hempstead High School swimming pool.


Swim lessons for ages 6+ will be held on Sunday afternoons through November 2nd at 1:30, 2:10 and 2:50 p.m. Aquatots (for ages 1-3 w/parent) will be held on Sunday afternoons through November 2nd at 12:45-1:15 p.m.

The following swim skill levels will be offered: Aquatots, Beginner I, Beginner II, Advanced beginner I, Advanced beginner II, Intermediate and Swimmer.

Fee is $17 for Beginner I-Swimmer if City resident and $20 if non-resident. Fee is $22 for Aquatots if City resident and $25 if non-resident.

Our Fall 2014 brochures are available and registration is in process. You may either register online, in-person, mail, fax and/or email your Fall class registrations.

Adapted Aquatics is also available for mentally and physically disabled individuals. One-on-one instruction will be arranged with pool personnel or integration into scheduled lessons with an instructor aide for individualized attention as needed.
