On August 16th, 2016, the Dubuque Police Department, along with the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office and the Iowa State Patrol, conducted a traffic enforcement project in downtown Dubuque.
The primary focus of the project was seatbelt compliance. The results are as follows:
16 Seatbelt citations/warnings
8 Proof of insurance citations/warnings
2 No driver’s license citations
6 Equipment citations/warnings
1 Driving under suspension citation
1 Tinted window citation
2 Expired registration warnings
3 Drug violations
1 Possession of drug paraphernalia
