On September 1, 2016, the Dubuque Police Department, along with the Iowa State Patrol, Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office and the City of Dubuque Animal Control Unit conducted a multi-agency safety and enforcement project on Dubuque’s west side.
The project focused on pedestrian & bicycle traffic, animal-related contacts, and traffic violations. It was operational from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The specific number & nature of offenses were as follows:
