The Leisure Services Department is offering a Sea Kayak class at Flora Pool on Thursday, May 27th from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. OR Sunday, June 6th from 7:00 to 10:00 a.m.
This introductory class includes the basics on entering and exiting the boat, paddling techniques, self rescues, wet exits and entries. Bring your own boat and PFD or borrow one of ours for $5.00 (fee to be paid on class date).
The minimum age to register for the class is age 16. Class registration fee is $15. Pre-registration is required at the Leisure Services Department, 2200 Bunker Hill Road or online at http://dbqparkrec.recware.com.
