On October 22nd, 2010 at approximately 11:34 p.m., Dubuque Police responded to a crash in the 2700 block of Windsor Avenue.
Officers located an occupied vehicle partially embedded in a residence at 2715 Windsor Avenue. In addition to striking the residence, the vehicle also collided with a tree. One of the two occupants died as the result of the crash, and the other remains hospitalized at the University of Iowa Hospital with serious injuries. The identities of the occupants are not being released as familial notifications are still in progress and the investigation is ongoing. More information will be released when authorized and available.
