The Dubuque Police Department is joining forces with Target and our area Neighborhood Associations to bring National Night Out to our community for the 2nd consecutive year.
National Night Out (NNO) is an annual, nationwide, crime prevention event held each year to promote police-community partnership, safety and neighborhood unity. NNO has been in existence for 28 years with an estimated 37 million people in 15,000 communities nationwide participating each year.
Join us at Comiskey Park (24th / 25th & Jackson / Washington St.) on Tuesday, August 2nd from 5:00-8:00 p.m. for food, snow cones, beverages, games, a bounce-house/slide and gifts for the kids. All residents, whether in attendance or not, are encouraged to turn on their porch lights and get better acquainted with their neighbors as part of a unified stand against crime in Dubuque and across the nation.
Help build a safer, stronger community by attending National Night Out. For more information, contact Lt. Scott Baxter at 563-589-4473 / sbaxter@cityofdubuque.org and/or visit www.NationalNightOut.org.
