[ARCHIVED] Yard Waste Collection Reminder

The City of Dubuque Public Works Department would like to remind citizens that the weekly curbside collection of yard waste will continue through the end of November.

The City of Dubuque Public Works Department would like to remind citizens that the weekly curbside collection of yard waste will continue through the end of November. Citizens are reminded to have their bags or rigid containers at curbside by 6:00 a.m. on their regular collection day. Yard waste must be in a rigid container or paper yard waste bag with an attached single-use yellow yard waste sticker - or in a rigid container with an annual yard waste decal on it.

Single-use yellow yard waste stickers are sold at local grocery stores, hardware stores, and at City Hall. They are sold on sheets of five for $6.50 at the stores, with City Hall also selling single stickers for $1.30 each. If you have brush and/or tree limbs that will not fit into a container or bag, they can still be collected if bundled with a City of Dubuque brush-tie. City brush-ties are sold at the same locations for $1.30 each.

If you have any questions regarding this program, please call the Public Works Department at 589-4250 or visit the City’s website at www.cityofdubuque.org/yardwaste.
