On January 14th, 2014, at 3:33 p.m., Dubuque Police assisted United States Marshals at 1831 Jackson Street after information was obtained indicating Nikola Fuller was there.
On January 14th, 2014, at 3:33 p.m., Dubuque Police assisted United States Marshals at 1831 Jackson Street after information was obtained indicating Nikola Fuller was there. Located inside the residence and in the adjoining apartment were Garrett K. Brokus, 09/06/79, of 1478 Jackson St., Jeremy S. Bakken, 11/23/84, of 2486 White St., & Nikola M. Fuller, 11/14/89, 4838 Peacock Dr. Brokus was arrested on a warrant for Probation Violation (Theft 3rd Degree) and a Felony Burglary warrant out of Jo Daviess County, IL. Bakken was arrested on warrants for Failure to Appear (Unlawful Possession Prescription Drug) & Interference with Official Acts. Fuller was arrested on multiple city & county warrants for Forgery, Theft, Probation Violation and Failure to Appear. Both Fuller and Bakken were additionally charged with Trespass for unlawfully entering the adjacent, unoccupied apartment in an attempt to hide from authorities. Fuller is being held on a $100,000 cash bond, Brokus is being held without bond, and Bakken is being held on a $5,000 cash bond. All remain in the Dubuque County Jail. The investigation into Fuller remains ongoing and additional charges are likely.
