Due to the Thanksgiving Day holiday, there will be no refuse, yard waste or curbside recycling collections on Thursday, Nov. 27. These collections will be made instead on the following Saturday, Nov. 29.
The Metro Landfill will alo be closed all day on Thanksgiving Day.
Weekly yard waste and food scrap collection will end the week of November 24-29 for the season and will resume on Monday, April 6, 2009.
