The City of Dubuque is pleased to announce that a one-day regional National Alliance of Preservation Commissions (NAPC) Commission Assistance and Mentoring Program (CAMP) will be held on October 9, 2010 at the recently renovated Hotel Julien Dubuque.
CAMP is an excellent opportunity to learn concepts which provide historic preservation commissioners, staff, elected officials, and others the tools they need to build strong local preservation programs. It is an intensive, energetic program that provides high quality training in a fun environment.
The 2010 City of Dubuque Regional NAPC CAMP topics include Legal Issues, Standards and Guidelines, Procedures, and Hands on Design Exercise. More information on the CAMP topics and details of the event are included in the attached event brochure. A registration form is also included in the brochure. All registration forms must be filled out and returned no later than September 24th.
