Dubuque Police have identified the suspect in this afternoon’s incident near Eagle’s Country Market and U.S. Bank as Richard P. Kennedy 03/29/79 of Dubuque.
Kennedy is being charged with Kidnapping 2nd Degree, Robbery 1st Degree & Theft 2nd Degree. Kennedy also has additional, unrelated warrants for his arrest. Anyone with information on Kennedy’s location should notify police immediately and exercise caution if in his immediate presence as he may be armed & dangerous.
As with any criminal case, the charges filed are allegations and any suspect(s) charged are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law.
