The lab will be closed Thursday, Sept. 25, 2025, for staff professional development. It will reopen for sample drop-off on Friday, Sept. 26.
The lab conducts a variety of water and wastewater analyses for the City of Dubuque, local industries, surrounding communities, and private individuals. Those who wish to test their water may pick up a sample collection (Whirl-Pak) bag and instructions at the WRRC administration building. All samples must be submitted by at least 3 p.m. Samples submitted on Fridays must be received by noon. If you have any questions, please call 563-589-4334.

Monday - Thursday: 8 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Friday: 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.
