Beginning at 7 AM on Tuesday, August 23, 2011, construction of the capacity improvements project at US 61-151/US 52 (and Twin Valley Road) will begin with a lane closure of the outside northbound lane of US 61-151. On Thursday, August 25, the southbound outside through and right-turn lane will also be closed to allow lane improvements to Twin Valley Road and US 52. During construction of these additional lanes, traffic will be shifted from its normal driving lanes. These transition lanes may include granular surface. Drivers should expect major delays at this intersection and are encouraged to find alternate routes if possible. Anticipated opening (weather permitting): October 1.
