Aproject to set girders for the Southwest Arterial (U.S. 52) bridge over U.S. 20 in Dubuque will require detouring eastbound U.S. 20 traffic onto North Cascade Road nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. from Monday, Feb. 11, until 5 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 21.
Weather permitting, a project to set girders for the Southwest Arterial (U.S. 52) bridge over U.S. 20 in Dubuque will require detouring eastbound U.S. 20 traffic onto North Cascade Road nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. from Monday, Feb. 11, until 5 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 21, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation’s Manchester construction office. During this closure, traffic will be guided around the work zone by digital message signs and a marked detour. Westbound U.S. 20 will continue using the ramps to detour around the work zone as they have been for the last year. There will be no change to westbound traffic during the closure nights as they bypass the bridge. Local traffic may remain on U.S. 20 to reach residences up to Stone Valley Drive.
