Due to traffic signal repair, an additional traffic shift will be in place at the intersection of Asbury Rd. and Carter Rd. beginning at 8 a.m. Monday, April 1, through 5 p.m. Thursday, April 11.
The northbound lane of Carter Road will be closed at the intersection with Asbury Road. Traffic will be detoured east on Asbury Rd., then north on Chaney Rd., then west on Kaufmann Ave. to Carter Rd. View a map of current closures/detours here: www.cityofdubuque.org/detours
Asbury Road’s eastbound left turn lane will also be closed to deter traffic from entering the closed portion of Carter Rd.
These shifts are in addition to an existing lane shift for westbound traffic on Asbury Rd. Westbound vehicles will utilize the left turn lane for all movements (left, right, and through the intersection).
The intersection will continue to operate as a four-way stop. Motorists are asked to use caution as they travel through the intersection.
