Effective immediately, Loras Boulevard will be closed between Dell Street and Henion Street for emergency water main repair with an anticipated re-open scheduled for Wednesday December 18th at 5 PM. During this time, motorists are encouraged to use the posted detour route. Westbound traffic will be detoured onto W Locust to Kirkwood to Alta Vista. Eastbound traffic will be detoured onto Alta Vista to University to 9th to Locust. If you have questions regarding this closure, please contact the City Water Department at 563-589-4291.
