Due to Upper Bee Branch Creek project-related construction, E. 24th St. between Washington St. and Elm St. will close on Monday, Oct. 19. This closure is expected to be in place until Friday, Oct. 23.
During this closure Washington St. and the intersection of Elm St., E. 24th St., and Prince St. will remain open.
Also starting on Monday, Oct. 19, Elm St. between E. 22nd St. and E. 24th St. will permanently close. The Heritage Trail located along this portion of Elm St. will also close on Monday. The trail will be detoured to Washington St. for the remainder of the project. Motorists and pedestrians should follow the posted detour routes.
