Overview
Katy Wethal, of 560 Fenelon Pl., was first elected to the Dubuque City Council in a special election in March 2022 to represent the city’s Fourth Ward. She was reelected in November 2023.
Background
Katy is a native of Sabula, Iowa, and has lived in Dubuque’s fourth ward since 2008. She is a nurse practitioner in the internal medicine department at Medical Associates and holds a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Clarke University and a master of science degree in nursing from the University of Northern Colorado. Katy and her husband, Robert, have three children.
