The Parking Division services the parking needs of the public and residents of Dubuque. In addition, the division provides for long-term planning to meet future parking needs to support and encourage economic growth and stability in concert with residential parking needs in the downtown area---all of this to be done in a manner that is self-supporting for the expansion of facilities, maintenance, and operation of all parking facilities.

The Parking Division monitors public parking enforcement, parking meters, parking ramps and lots, towed vehicles, and parking availability and locations.

Enforcement of Parking Meter Expiration Violations

Effective immediately, the City of Dubuque is temporarily suspending enforcement of parking meter expiration violations through April 12, 2020. All other street parking regulations will continue to be enforced in accordance with City code. Click here for details.
