FAQs and Troubleshooting

Can I submit a paper application?

No. To streamline our grant administration processes, all applications must be submitted online via our online application portal. To assist you in your grant writing process, PDFs of the application questions as they appear in the online forms are available for download and printing at the Operating Support Grant and Special Projects Grant webpages.

Can I compose answers in a word processing application like Word, then copy and paste them into the application?

Yes. Using this approach has several advantages. You’ll be working with a tool you are likely more familiar with. Also, as responses in the online forms are limited to set character counts (including spaces), you can use the Word Count tool in Word to adjust wording and formatting to fit in the form fields appropriately.

What should I do if I'm having trouble with the online application?

Applicants should visit help.liaisonedu.com for assistance related to the functions of the online submission.

When are Arts and Culture grant applications due?
Please refer to the timelines noted on the individual program webpages as follows:
Applications are due by 11:59 pm on the dates noted. Access to the online application forms will expire accordingly.

Application guidelines refer to completing a Final Report. Where do I find that?

Final Report forms will be generated after funding is disbursed. Final Reports are due within 60 days of the end of the grant funding cycle. A Final Report is required of all grant recipients; failure to submit a final report may affect an organization's eligibility for future funding. To access Final Report forms from recent funding cycles, visit the Submit a Final Report webpage.
